What Causes Severe Pain In Right Side While Breathing Deep?

I am having pain on the right side, not consistent with appendicitis, but more with breathing. If I draw a deep or sharp breath I have excruciating pain that makes me stop. I do not believe it to be my lungs as I had an appointment with my pulmonologist this morning. I had to sneeze a moment ago and on insulting the pain was so severe my sneeze was aborted. Would this be muscular?

You didn't describe the type of pain, or clarify exactly where the pain is.

Form your brief description, yes, It could be muscular.
Another possibility is to be a pleurisy pain, which is inflammation of the pleura, the membrane covering your lungs. This typically is a pricking pain that increases when taking a deep breath.

Hope that was helpful.
Regards.
