What Causes Severe Pain In Shoulder?

Hi. Every few days or so, I would get this throbbing pain in my right or left shoulder. It's not too painful, but it is very uncomfortable, kind of like a toothache throbbing feeling. It seems to be from somewhere deep inside my shoulder and the sensation lasts for about a minute or two everytime. This has been happening for a couple of years now, but I always thought they were just random.

You have not mentioned your age but these symptoms suggest that either you are having subacromial bursitis or rotator cuff tear. It can be diagnosed with MRI of the shoulder. Till you get your MRI reports I want to suggest you to do hot water fomentation, Apply Diclofenac ointment and Brufen tablet.
