What Causes Severe Pain In The Abdomen Along With Nausea?

My husband believes he has a kidney stone. He thinks he could have passed it earlier today, however, he is still in much pain, some nausea and seems to find breathing labored as it hurts to breathe. Area where he thought the stone was is still very sore. Some urine earlier today had a tint to it like blood.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably he had a kidney stone passed. However, I'd recommend to run abdominal ultrasound. And should run urine analysis at home to see if blood or infection is present.

Give him plenty of liquids. Rosa canina/uva-ursi tea can help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wish you fast recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
