What Causes Severe Pain In The Abdomen That Worsens After Eating?

I am having severe pain in my abdominal area and on the side of my stomach. When I eat the pain is worst. The pain is sharp, burning, cramping and feels like pressure. Almost feel like my stomach muscles are contracting. What could this be and why I am experiencing this type of pain?

Hello welcome to the health care magic

You are having pain after eating food

It suggest towards peptic ulcer etiology

Take rabeprazole 20 mg OD for two week

If needed and no improvement than CBC and USG abdomen done and antibiotic course will be given

Drink more water

Avoid excess spicy foods

Avoid stress

Avoid smoking

Excess tea, coffee restricted

Cooked oatmeal help in soothing stomach

Yogurt will also beneficial
