Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have gout like symptoms and extreme pain, but unlike the gout it moves from one limb to another, one body part to another, one place in the body to another. This pain and movement moves an hour at a time, overnight, or even a day at a time. At times, it almost goes away entirely and then starts all over again. Thank you for your help. Regards, Mike
You have pain in the joints that move around the body & affects the joints like gout. It can be RA, an autoimmune disease that causes pain and damage throughout the body.
Consult a Rheumatologist, get RA factor done, CBC, CRP, anti-CCP. Exercise regularly (stretch & strengthening exercises). See a physiotherapist for heating therapy.
Have a diet rich in Omega 3 fatty acid, antioxidant-rich food. Avoid addictions & junk food. Maintain a healthy weight as per your BMI.
Fibromyalgia is often confused with RA. Fibromyalgia does not cause pain in the joints or muscle inflammation. However, get physically examined by a doctor & get treated at the earliest. For pain, you can take NSAIDs.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
