What Causes Severe Pain In The Calf Muscles?
I m having extreme muscular pain in the calf, difficult to walk. Taking Mobic but don t believe it s going to prove successful because the pain is too severe for oral meds. Feel I may need a cortisone shot. What do you think? Had an Ultra-Sound, there is no Venous and/or Blood Clot condition. My primary is a great doctor but she will most likely refer me.

It looks like a severe muscle spasm, for that you can take muscle relaxants in combination with painkillers like ZERODOL MR.
Yes, You can have a steroid short but that s not the right way to suppress your symptoms.
Anyways consult an orthodontic surgeon for better diagnosis and treatment plan.
