What Causes Severe Pain In The Chest After An Accident?

hello i was i a car accident last friday evening amd the airbags deployed. i went to ER they did ct =scan and exrays nothig broken but im still having severe pain in my chest.....how long does this pain suppose to last? shouldnt it be getting better not worse?

Hello,

As this will be a muscular injury and pain is raised due to it. I will advise you to do simple breathing exercises and do hot water fermentation over the painful muscular area. This should help reduce the pain and also reduce the worry.

Deploying of the airbags can lead to some stress over the rib cage and usually, this takes about 5-7 days of time for the pain to come down.
