Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Pain In The Chest And Excessive Sweating?
I have been experiencing these spurs of intense pain in my heart and it feels like someone is squeezing it to death and I get shaky and sweaty and sometimes it will last a few seconds and other times a few minutes. I get a bit light headed and notice my heart beats faster even when I sit and try to calm down some.
I may suggest Without delay one should go to ER. This may be due to heart attack (Myocardial Infarction) There is immediate need for clinical examination immediate injestion of Aspirin 300mg, Clopidogrel 300mg and Atorvastatin 80mg and evaluation like - ECG (Electrocardiogram) - 2Decho. - Cardiac enzymes like Troponin T or I with CPK-MB.
Depending upon above evaluation there may be need for hospitalization and further treatment.
Hope this helps.
