General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
There are many reasons that cause chest pain.
They can be:
-cardiologic problems
-pulmonary problems
-gastrointestinal probless
-Rib problems. Pain from a rib fracture may worsen with deep breathing or coughing.
-Muscle strain.
So you should do some tests to diagnose, blood tests or X-rays. Tests used to diagnose the cause of pain may include also CT or CAT scan, ultrasound and other tests.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
