What Causes Severe Pain In The Clitoris?

I had sex for the first time in nearly 3 years and it hurts around my clitoris I figured it hurt because it was the first time in a long time the guy was a doctor himself & yes it was unprotected. It doesn t itch or anything it kind of burns when I pee but not every time. I ve had a UTI in the past so it doesn t feel like that s what I have. The next day I had protected sex unexpectedly with someone else & they were asking if I had anything because they re penis was red. He didn t put it in me without the condom so I m not sure why it was red. It hurts to wipe as if its a bit tender in the area. The other guy never complained so I don t know. I know I don t have anything since I wasn t sexually active in a long time.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist you can consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
