Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been experiencing extreme pain in my left arm, particularly around and in my elbow. This pain has been going on for six weeks. This morning, I noticed that when I used my left trigger finger, the pain was even more excruciating. I experience pain when I lift anything with my left hand/arm, twist my left hand/forearm and when I reach out with my left arm.
This sounds like a tendonitis problem. Usually it resolves with rest, an elbow brace, and ibuprofen, but you need to see your doctor since you may need a cortisone injection.
