What Causes Severe Pain In The Feet While On Metformin And Meloxicam?

First time user. Went to ER in hopes any meds prescribed would eliminate the severe pain especially the bottom of my feet, lower back pack and knuckles. I got a Toradol injection, it helped briefly. metformin 500mg 1 x day for 30 days, Lasix 20mg this helped to minimize swelling, not w the pain. I have been saddled with this crippling condition for 2+ weeks. Lastly, I must get meloxicam 7.5mg filled today. I pray it relieves the pain (all over). email: YYYY@YYYY THANK YOU :o)

Hi,

Most probably it might be due to a condition called plantar fascitis. As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like tramadol for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
