My name is Brianna Harr and I got the Mirena IUD in December of 2014 and at first i was having a lot of pain down there and my periods were messed up, But it has gotten a little better. But now i m having pain down there during intercourse with my fiance it comes and goes sometimes but it still hurts. Also i have been feeling really hungry, like i ll eat something and then an hour later i feel like i m starving to death,is that part of the mirena cause im gaining weight like crazy and i don t understand why i am hungry all the time and why it hurts during intercourse. Can you help me please?
if there is no visible bleeding you dont need to worry about it much, and the pain can be there for few days.pain during intercourse can be caused due to many reasons.if the IUD is misplaced it can happen.once go to a gynecologist and get it checked if its in place.also after a proper examination the gynecologist ll give you exact reason for your pain.
