Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had xrays when I had severe pain in my hip & back & there was nothing on the xrays. My doctor told me that bursitis does not always show on xrays. It started out as if I had been punched in the upper left hip & was debilitating then faded away. I used an ice pack on my hip could this be bursitis. I have had surgery for disc fusion & stenous?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to back muscle spasm. Taking NSAIDs like Aceclofenac and muscle relaxants like tizanidine will be helpful. Physiotherapy and exercises also helps. Thanks.
