What Causes Severe Pain In The Hips And Knees?

I am having recent problems with my hip and knee. Somewhat tolerable until an exercise class where I injured the hip/knee and now I am in constant pain and can barely walk. Looking for a top surgeon who specializes in hip replacements with a superior rating. Scheduled to have a steroid injection next week.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, you may be having osteoarthritis and the damage may be irreversible to most of the extent so maybe surgical treatment can be the most reliable option.

Using OTC analgesics like acetaminophen meanwhile for symptomatic relief and supplements for calcium, D3 and ossein mineral complexes can be helpful to slow down wear and tear.

Orthopaedics review and repeated follow up will be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
