Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having intermitten pain in the upper right hip bone area. I is sharp and lasts several minutes. It only happens when I sit or lie down. I awoke twice last night with this pain This has been going on for the last 24 hours. I believe I have had about 7 or 8 episodes during this time.
Your symptoms seem to be related to rheumatoid arthritis. Some advice that I can give to you is:
-Use anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen
-use cool compresses
-If the symptoms continue you should take prescribed opioids from your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
General & Family Physician
