What Causes Severe Pain In The Hips?

So my hip has been hurting extremely and I have no clue what it is. It hurts when I rest, bear weight, walk, move, dance and run. Especially since I’m a dancer, whenever I turn out my leg and lift my foot to my opposite knee, it hurt a lot. And when I squad. It’s my right hip.

Thanks for contacting with your health concern

1. As your age can't be deduced from the history, but since you are a dancer then accordingly the cause can vary from a muscle/tendon pull to faulty technique [bad posture] or although you are doing the move correctly your muscles lack the strength to execute it properly.

PS. since pain is constant thus could be repetitive stress injury.

2. Consult an Orthopedic surgeon regarding hip discomfort/pain since it could be because of hip osteoarthritis, AVN [avascular necrosis], DVT [deep vein thrombosis], PVD [peripheral vascular disorder]

PS. The symptoms have to be carefully assessed by your doctor to ensure that whether it requires immediate medical attention or long-term therapy.
