What Causes Severe Pain In The Joints Along With Fatigue?
I experience severe joint pain in all of my joints. It always begins in my knees. It is symmetrical pain. Once it starts in my knees it spreads to my ankles, and hips, then to the joints in my upper body. I also experience fatigue, exhaustion, and 12 months ago I began getting migraines. A friend asked if I had looked into auto immune deficiency. I have been reading more about them over the past few days. The symptoms of Lupus seem to be very similar to what I am experiencing. Are there ways to get more information or answers about my symptoms and Lupus or other auto immune deficiency?
Lupus erythematosus is a chronic autoimmune disorder. Your symptoms seem to be related to this disorder, but it might also be related to arthritis or another autoimmune disorder.
It's difficult to diagnose this disorder only by the symptoms, so I suggest you consult a rheumatologist, for a more detailed history and perform a physical examination for any signs of arthritis.

What Causes Severe Pain In The Joints Along With Fatigue?
Hello, Lupus erythematosus is a chronic autoimmune disorder. Your symptoms seem to be related to this disorder, but it might also be related to arthritis or another autoimmune disorder. It s difficult to diagnose this disorder only by the symptoms, so I suggest you consult a rheumatologist, for a more detailed history and perform a physical examination for any signs of arthritis. The doctor might ask you to do complete blood count analysis, blood sugar, antibody tests, urinalysis, chest X-ray etc. Meanwhile, you can take anti-inflammatory drugs such as (Ibuprofen 400 twice daily for the pain). Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Suela Gjata, General & Family Physician
