Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Pain In The Joints And Muscles?
I am trying to get diagnosed properly. I have had food allergy for 3 years, supposedly from a Lone Star Tick Bite. I also have had repeated sinus infections for several years. I have sever joint & muscle pain periodically - which moves from place to place. I have sever fatigue. Any ideas? I don t really fit Rheumathoid Arthritis only - so possibly auto immune in conjunction with something. Thyroid test okay - I only test high factor for RA & autoimmune - 197.
The symptoms are more likely of arthritis and possibly immunological like in SLE and vasculitis. Consult a rheumatologist and get evaluated. Detailed evaluation including ANA profiling is required to make a diagnosis.
As of now you can take analgesics like acceptor, Tramadol for pain relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
