What Causes Severe Pain In The Left Abdomen?

I was in a head on collision in February had significant bruising on abdomen the Dr I saw even with my hematomas/blood clots never orders a ct scan.... As pain was worsening i switched drs 3 months later who had me do a ct scan yesterday n today I ve been in severe pain on left abdomen down towards left panty line up to ribs so I got my report sent to me in the report it says I have an enlarged spleen 14 + cm in cross sectional dimension should I seek medical affection the pain is not subsiding at all

Hi,

It has been more than three months for your pain abdomen with a history of a bruising and CT scan shows enlarged spleen. I feel that you must seek further medical attention. You can visit gastroenterology with your CT report. The report needs to be analysed in detail and you may need further investigations to establish the exact diagnosis of your problem and find the cause of pain and splenomegaly.
