Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have a terrible burning pain in my left ear..and intensified when i swallow. been going on for 6 months or close to a year..reaching its highest point last couple months..i had cat scan and it indicated i had 2 prominent(but not enlarged) lymph nodes in anterior cervical and 2 borderline enlarged lymphnodes of same area....ive been on antibiodics but little to no relief..i have an appt with a biopsy dr(due to lymph node swelling to rule in/out cancer..but outside of the burning pain(very intense) and swallowing(in same area) i dont have any of the classic symptoms of throat cancer..no change in voice/no difficulty swallowing/nothing feeling like something stuck in throat and no loss of appettite or weight....if it is cancer is it possible that it would be in early stages still,,,also CT scan showed those lymph nodes but no evidence of other masses...do u think it is cancer?
