What Causes Severe Pain In The Legs During Pregnancy?

Hi Dr. My wife is pregnant running in 6th month...she s having very hectic leg pain n from two days she s suffering from fever bec of fever is s very tired when consulted the Dr he suggested to put two bottles of glucose drips is it safe Dr kindly reply.

Thanks for your question on HCM & I do understand your concern
“As” per your clinical history is concerned she has leg pain so check her blood pressure if it is normal or not also check whether she has leg swelling present or not, if present she needs medication as well as raising her leg while on bed.
Regarding fever I may say that do a CBC to check what type of fever it is and take medications as per test report only. Regarding glucose drip there is no harm at all, and she can take as per her requirements only or can take oral glucose and drink plenty of fluids.
