What Causes Severe Pain In The Little Toe?

Hi, I have extreme pain in my little toe and the toe next to it. The pain comes in waves, very sharp pain, and I sometimes want to scream with the pain. I wondered if it could be gout, but I think gout is only in the big toe. It s been going on for about 2 weeks. Thank yiu

Hi,

I understand your concern for the pain you have and to know the problem and get treated.

There are various causes of pain in small toes. I advise making sure the shoe you wear is not tight to press your toes. I suggest my patients consult a nearby doctor of orthopedic doctor to find and treat the problem.

I would suggest not to worry as it is not the treatment.
