Hello,
1. At present all I can say is that it might be a 'gastrointestinal' symptom thus you should contact a
general surgeon [to exclude appendicitis].
2. symptoms of combined vomiting and diarrhea points towards food poisoning [gastro enteritis] thus you need to see your
primary care doctor who might manage you symptomatically but may refer you to consult a Pathologist or an infectious disease specialist to know about the culprit behind the pathology, [i.e. was it viral, bacterial or parasitic infection] and then prescribe accordingly, till then:
- wash hands properly [before eating, after using the washroom and after handling pets/waste].
- drink boiled water and properly cooked vegetables [avoid raw/ undercooked food and tap water]
- wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly before consumption.
- Add
probiotic food [curd, sourdough bread] which will help maintain proper digestive function]
- take plenty of water, liquids, black tea, overripe bananas, coconut water. As loose motions decrease take
soft diet, soft rice, bread, toast, cornflakes, dry fruits, salads.
- Avoid aerated drinks, milk, chilies, deep fried foods.
3. The most common diagnoses of lower
abdominal pain relate to uterine, gonadal, renal, and bladder complications, [less common causes like primary dermatologic and musculoskeletal problems as well as
referred pain and neuropathies related to underlying vertebral and
spinal cord complications can also occur], so examination is mandatory for further workup and management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Munish Sood
