What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Back On The Left Side?

hi, Wednesday at my daughters I I felt this breath catching pain in my lower left back, almost in my hip. maybe about 3 or 4 inches above my bottom. I took some aleve an it helped until about 4 hours ago. know its like a deep ache same place but radiates down into my upper left leg. I was on augmentin for about 2 weeks. didn t know if maybe it was a side affect or maybe something else

Hi, I Have gonr through your query.the pain is not a side-affect of Augmentin.By your symptoms it looks like a lumbo-sacral strain or Sciatica.Take rest on a hard bed.You can take pain killers like Mobizox 3 times a dayalong with a combination of Pregabalin(75mg)-Methycobalamin(1500mg) at bed time.Hot compress als helps.If no relief then you may have to go in for a MRI.
