What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Back?

I am 60 yr. old female and am having severe bilateral pain in my mid - to lower back. cloudy urine, no blood, difficulty standing upright and difficulty breathing. Tramadol and muscle relaxant gave me no relief. I have had a couple bladder infections this last year I self treated with cranberry juice and alka seltzer. I recently (two months ago) quit smoking. I am on no medications and otherwise in excellent health.

It would be best to considering seeing your doctor for an assessment. Blood in the urine, may not be seen as blood in some cases but cause the urine to appear cloudy.

With a history of pain and previous infections, infection of the bladder or kidneys would need to be ruled out. It would be best to use antibiotics to completely clear the bacteria from your system.
