What Causes Severe Pain In The Neck And Back Along With Headaches?
I have aching pain on both sides of my neck and my back. On last night I also had a headache. I took medication because I thought the headache was merely a sinus headache. I had/have not explanation for the neck pain and the back pain. It is ever present. Any idea what this could be? Thanks!
Hi, Welcome to HCM If you are not havinig any signs of infection like fever and flu like symptoms then probably neck and upper back pain that you are experiencing is due to muscular fatigue or spasm, which result from constant near work and bending of neck downwards to do so. Its not a reason to be worried about. strengthen your neck and upper back muscles with simple exercises and maintain a good hydration while doing so. If you have sign like neck rigidity with fever, malaise, nausea and vomiting you probably have meningitis. Please refer to a local physician as soon as possible.
