Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having pain in my rectum. Feels like sharp stabbing. I feel constipated but have leaky small soft stool sometimes. I was in bed sleeping and when I woke and stood and a lot of mucousy clear liquid gushed out. I thought I may be impacted but the only thing in could feel by internal check is a bulge of skin filling my lower rectum.
Hello, I have gone through your query and understand your concerns.
Rectal or anal pain mostly occur with inflammatory diseases of the bowel, localized infections, or minor injuries to the area. Some causes of rectal pain, such as hemorrhoids or anal fissures, can be accompanied by other symptoms like blood in the stool or bleeding.
In your case it is clear that the cause is hemorrhoids as you are having a bulge which is noticeable. Suggest you to meet a surgeon for personal examination and management.
Hope this answers your query.
Regards, Dr.Alekhya.
