What Causes Severe Pain In The Right Breast?

Over the last 3 days, I ve developed right breast pain which is in the same area and is a constant ache with intermittent sharp pain. Last night I felt a round, pea size breast lump in the area, feels circular and kind of hard. It moves a little if I push on it. It s also painful to put pressure on it. Today I noticed a circular area of redness on my breast, in the same area where the lump and pain is located. I don t feel any warmth to the area and I don t have a fever.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, you must be having a cyst in your breast.
Unfortunately, I don't know your age but I can say that small mass in the breast which is moving on pushing is not very dangerous. Pain in the breast can also be related to hormonal changes.
I will recommend you examine your breast thoroughly and see a midwife or nurse. Things you must be careful about are growing lump in the breast, nipple discharge, skin wrinkling on the breast over the lump. Avoid breast trauma in this time.
If the lump is significantly large, the nurse might advise you to see a doctor. But don' worry, as I said, small mass in the breast which is moving on pushing is not very dangerous.

Take care,
Regards
