What Causes Severe Pain In The Right Hip?

I have been diagnosed last week with a ruptured disc. I have been is so much pain for a very long time. My last MRI was Aug 2016 and it was not noticed until last week. I now have excruciating pain in my right hip in the front. The orthopedic surgeon didn t see anything. I can hardly move, the pain is worse than my disc issue. Its a sharp and then dull pain. Gets worse when active,( I play Racquetball with my 13 yr old daughter daily), and hurts whern sleeping and waking. have I torn a muscle?

visit orthopedic surgeon for your this query. may be this pain is due to bone fracture or tension on bone .. or may be neuropathic. go for diagnostic investigations i.e, X-ray of Right Hip and if possible then MRI or CT scan.
