What Causes Severe Pain In The Shoulder After An Injury?
3 months ago I dropped the hatchback of my car onto the end of my shoulder.. xrays shows a chip.. its hurting just as much as it did at the beginning.. should I get it re checked or is it going to take longer to get better ? sorry to bother you I dont have any money to pay for an answer.. ill just suffer thru it.. thanks

Hi, Thanks for tge query. I understand your concern. Shoulder fractures are mostly with not displaced fragments...&need just immobilization , or some of them with mobilized fragments need surgical treatment what They heal with within 6 -8 weeks.. & the pain reduces gradually within 3-4 months . * -If you have the same pain even after 3 months...the chip fracture might not have healed well &needs reassessment OR -there might be simultaneous trauma to rotatercuff...which needs physiotherapy/local stroid injection. *In both the conditions you need to reconsult your treating orthopedic surgeon&get investigation like MRI as per his advise to point out exact cause followed by specific treatment. Thanks.
