What Causes Severe Pain In The Stomach Of A Kid?
My 3 year old son awakened with severe stomach pain twice tonight. The first time I gave him a child s Tums and he seemed to get some relief and went back to sleep lying on my chest. Then, about an hour ago he awakened again with pain but it was more severe. I had my husband take him to the ER. Did we overreact?

Hi...you did not over react. What you did is right. A 3 year old crying of stomach pain is a significant symptoms. His age is such that he cannot express himself also well. An examination by a physician is always reassuring. What you did is right.
