What Causes Severe Pain In The Testicles?

My boyfriend of 16 yrs had/ has severe groin pain. He went to a urologist. He was told he had a double herniation in his left testical,it would have to be removed. He was in so much pain he asked if that would relieve the pain. He was told yes. One and a half months later he still has the same Pain! Did this dr. castrate him needlessly . Sorry we can t possibly afford this. He is on disability, I work for minimum wage. Sorry if I have waisted your time. Mary sellars

Dear Ms, it seems that your boyfriend was having a testicular torion which is an emergency that requires removal of the affected testis if it was gangerous.. I would recommend you send the reports of the operation for further help
