What Causes Severe Pain In The Tooth While Eating?
one left side tooth atfer pressure from top during eating started severe pain imdtly. followed by heavy swelling of gum. docter suggested tab augmentin, metrogyl.zerodel followed by tearing of gum and flushing out any pausenear the tooth. but after seven days , some swelling and pain still persist. root canal treatment can not be started before complete swelling gone. what to do . sn mishra

As per your complain it seems that there is formation of dental abscess leading to pain and pus drainage from the tooth..
In case if the swelling is not completely resolved even after taking medication, then it seems to be probably due to pus that is still present and not being drained off..
As you are already taking medications like antibiotics and painkillers you should continue with it and you should also start doing cool compresses over the swelling.. You should also add Serratiopeptidses in your medications..
When the swelling goes down considerably you can get root canal treatment done as Root Canal treatment will help in draining off the remaining pus and will help in complete resolution of swelling..
