Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I am a male, 30 years old and I started experiencing severe stomach pains 4 days ago on Monday. The pain is in the upper part of the abdomen, bellow the ribs but above the navel. Sometimes I feel like it hurts towards my back too but ever since I was a kid whenever my stomach would hurt I would think it was the back too so I am not sure if the back slight ache is a real symptom. On Monday I woke up to this severe pain and with a lot of nausea to the point that I vomited once. The rest of the day I still had nausea but not the next day. On the second day I had a 102 fever but less pain. The third day the pain continued but it was worse when I walked. I still feel pain in the stomach but not as much and no fever. No diarrhea either. I would greatly appreciate your help as I am not able to visit a doctor in person.
