What Causes Severe Pain In The Upper Back While Breathing?
I am having severe back pain from my ribs up and when I lay or touch the area it feels like a bruise but, I do not have a bruise on my back it has also gone to my front where my ribs are. Taking pain medication helps a little but it still hurts. It sometimes hurts to breathe but not a severe issue.

As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and plan for a CT thorax also.
