Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Pain in upper thigh after a physical execise especially if you are not used to exercising may be:
-pain experienced during or immediately following exercise
-delayed onset muscle soreness
-pain induced by muscle cramps
Each of these types of pain is characterised by a different time course and different etiology. However, it is generally believed that lactic acid is responsible for this pain but other factors that may also play a role in this type of pain are ions,
proteins, and
hormonal factors.
I will suggest you try the following:
-Take enough water
-Balanced diets
-self-
massage to help reduce muscle tightness
-Massage therapy
-Stay active.Though muscles need to rest to recover, being completely inactive the day after exercise may prolong soreness.
-Sleep well
-Ice/heat therapy
-If pain too intense, you may add a pain drug like
aceclofenac and a myorelaxant like miorel
Hope this will help
Best regards
