My 82 yr old father is suddenly having pain in his left wrist bone. It s on the outside of the wrist and it is a little red, slightly swollen and feels warm. He says it hurts to touch the bone and it also hurts to bend it and grab anything. Several years ago he did have a couple bouts of gout in his toe and he wonders if he could have gout in his wrist bone.
Hi thanks for posting your query on health magic as you have mentioned there is pain redness, swelling, These all are signs of inflammation, he may have fracture underlying, kindly go through an xray of the wrist There might be a chance of gout but wrist joint is not frequently involved in gout I hope you are satisfied with the answer
