Hi
welcome to HCM
Ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory drug and have a side effect of stomach and intestinal bleeding. so immediately stop the medication as it a fatal side effect.
Severe wrist pain unilateral presentation is usually due to carpel tunnel syndrome, mainly seen in females of DM, hypothyroid, RA, Pregnancy.
Pain is aggravated by hand movement and flexion and relieved with rest. tingling sensation over the lateral half of the palm(towards the thumb). following things may help.
Stop activities that cause numbness and pain.
Rest your wrist longer between activities.
Ice your wrist for 10 to 15 minutes 1 or 2 times an hour.
Try taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to relieve pain and reduce swelling.(other than Ibuprofen)
Wear a wrist splint at night. This takes pressure off your median nerve.
Severe cases need to be operated.
Get a X ray wrist to diagnose it.

Hope it helped you
