HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
It is possible that the pain is due to
neuralgia.
Neuralgia is nerve related pain and it is due to abnormal function of the nerves.
This abnormal function is called
peripheral neuropathy. In other words- peripheral neuropathy causes neuralgia (nerve related pain)
Peripheral neuropathy can be temporary or permanent.
The causes include: (1)diabetes
(2)trauma to the nerves
(3)
vitamin b12 or folate deficiency
(4)side effect of medication
(5)liver or kidney disease
(6)exposure to toxins
(7)idiopathic - cause is not known
(8)infection such as shingles
(9)
hormonal such as
thyroid disease
To find the cause, if it continues or worsens , you would need to see your doctor for an assessment which would physical examination and blood tests at least.
I hope this helps
