Hello and welcome to HCM, Pain in joints is suggestive of arthritis or joint inflammation. A clinical assessment of all the involved joints is required. A X-ray is the first line investigation done to look for effusion or collection of fluid in the joint cavities. If any effusion is detected, further investigations may have to be performed. A repeat thyroid function tests can also be done to assess the status of thyroid. Hypothyroidism can lead to generalized body aches so it needs to be corrected before managing joint problem. I suggest you to consult an orthopedician for the clinical assessment, investigations and management of joint pains.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
