What Causes Severe Pain, Numbness And Swelling In Right Hand?

My cervical spine does not bend backward, I have sever pain in my right hand from shoulder to tip of fingures. Often my right had numb and swells. My right shoulder ir always numb. My tsh level is 13. What should I do to hqve a pain free life whil doing my daily life jobs.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe pain, numbness and swelling in right hand . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cervical spondylosis ,cervical radiculopathy , disc problem ,tendinitis , brusitis or shoulder or shoulder joint problem . Allergic reaction can also cause such symptoms . I would suggest you to apply warm compresses to neck back and shoulder . give proper rest to your shoulder and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Consult orthopedic surgeon if condition is not getting well . Doctor may order CT scan or MRI of shoulder joint , back and neck . Doctor may recommend particular stretching exercises along with physical therapy . Take anti histamine .Doctor may also recommend muscle relaxant along with anti inflammatory .
