General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,

First of all let me assure you that there are certain things which money cannot buy and that's love and care, and we care for you. Coming to your symptoms, it seems your pain is due to cough and irritation to your diaphragm. If you have mild cough with no fever, chills then in most probability it is due to common flu. You need not worry about it much. Take large quantities of water and do steam inhalation 4 times a day. Do mouth gargling with salt water thrice a day. You will be fine soon. If you have evening fevers, chills , cough more than 2 weeks then kindly get a thorough examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suhas Chauhan
