Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have severe pain in the middle of the right side of my back. It started Saturday night and I thought it was a pulled muscle, but it has continued to worsen throughout the afternoon and Sunday night. Hurts to move and is especially painful when I sneeze. Now I m thinking it might be my lung? Pneumonia? I wasn t aware that pneumonia had pain like this associated with it though.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Pinak De's Response
Apparently seems less likely to be a case of pneumonia rather it is more indicating towards a Spinal cord/spinal root compression. You need to get an x-ray done of the concerned area(seems to be dorsal spine here) and if needed further investigation may be warranted. You can visit a nearby orthpedician.
