What Causes Severe Pain Radiating From The Neck To The Spine?
OK my name is Connie. I have a few medical issues but this one is new. I am getting a strong pain at the base of my neck which radiates down my spine. It comes and goes and the ampunt of pain also varies. It can be anywhere from a 5-8. it goes down my back and my shpulders are also affected.
As a first line management, you can try analgesics like Tramadol or Diclofenac for symptomatic relief. You can also use a soft cervical collar to immobilize the neck.
If symptoms persist, It is better to consult an orthopedic and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
