What Causes Severe Pain Under The Left Arm After Treating Cough?
hey I have a bad cough this last three weeks I m just finished my 2nd antibiotic and cough medicine I took a terrible pain last week under my left arm but today I m just finished my antibiotic and the pain is a lot worse and its going straight across my back to the other side doctor said it was pleurisy but I m worried its something else

After a prolonges cough the lung coverings called pleura are inflamed and they cause strong piercing pains in chest this is very common and with time it will get better. In my opinion too its same as your doctor said, you should not worry just give your body time to recover. You can take tylenol or ibuprofen for pain this will also help with inflammation. As cough has got better so pain too is expected to get well soon.
