What Causes Severe Pain Under The Left Armpit?
My husband went to the ER with severe pain on his left side shooting from under his armpit toward his heart. They did all the necessary tests and there is nothing wrong with his heart. They did find a quarter sized spot on his left lung. Now for the last 36 hours he has ran fever off and on. He now has orange urine but has been drinking fluids like crazy. He also has no appetite. Any ideas? He is refusing to go back to the ER until after finals week, unless I can find concrete evidence that he needs to be seen right away.

Consult a physician and get evaluated. The possibilities are inflamed lymph nodes.
If symptoms are severe an ultrasound scan is required.
