Diagnosed with diverticulitis 4 years ago. Deal with flare ups from time to time. Usually work through it but sometimes requires a round of antibiotics. For past few days been dealing with flare up. But more painful this time. Besides spending lots of time in bathroom, the pain has radiated from the usual point on left side to the middle, just under belly button. I m out of town and unable to see my Dr. I m wondering if there is anything I need to do or If I should be more concerned than usual? I am 59 years old and otherwise in good health.
