What Causes Severe Palpitations While Suffering From LBBB?

I have a CRTD for left branch bundle blockage. I recently had it replaced via top of chest and thoracic insertion of third wire. I am now having extreme chest bumping to the point it moves my rib cage and chest wall. If I hold my breath it dissipates, but returns regardless of exercise or not. I currently do not have a cardiologist or electrophysiologist in my current area, I am 200 miles from my old doctors. Is this something that should be addressed immediately, I am seeing new cardiologist in two weeks. Thank you.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If it is only chest bumping without pain, breathlessness, palpitations etc then no need to worry for this. No need to visit cardiologist urgently if you don't have any of the above symptoms. You can definitely wait till 2 weeks. But if you have either chest pain, palpitations, breathing difficulty along with chest bumping then you should immediately consult your cardiologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
