What Causes Severe Palpitations?

I m used to palpitations and have had ECGs over the years which have found no problems other than I have a systolic murmer which I don t consider a problem. However this morning I was awakened by the most powerful irregular thudding which extended down into my stomach. Lasted about an hour. Should I worry?

You should have a Holter monitoring of blood pressure and pulse and a 2D Echo to rule out a condition called MVP--regards
